Overview
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment. Diagnose and repair chassis, tanks, pumps, spray systems, tractors, forklifts, and small engines. Document repairs in an electronic maintenance management system. Manage parts inventory and coordinate vendor services. Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs. Prepare maintenance budgets. Respond to breakdowns in the field. Seeking a self-sufficient mechanic with strong technical abilities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle chassis and specialized vehicle back-end tank pump and spray systems
- 2Repair tractors forklifts and small engines including aerators seeders and spreaders
- 3Document all repairs in an electronic maintenance management system
- 4Maintain parts inventory and keep work areas organized
- 5Arrange follow up documentation for outsourced maintenance performed by vendors
- 6Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs
- 7Prepare and oversee maintenance budget
- 8Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field
- 9Operate vehicles with a valid driver's license
- 10Manage lift operations up to 50 pounds
- 11Perform routine inspections and cleaning of work areas
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED and 1-4 years automotive mechanic experience
- 2Knowledge of Python AWS React Kubernetes
- 3Ability to read safety rules operating and maintenance manuals
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 5Strong mathematical skills for calculations discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference volume
- 6Attention to detail verbal and written communication skills
- 7Time management and organizational abilities punctual attendance
- 8Physical ability to sit stand walk use hands and arms operate vehicles
- 9Minimal ability to speak read and write fluently in English
- 10Physical location requirement US residency
- 11Veteran status preferred
