Varicent Support Specialist, Incentive Compensation
Overview
Own on-site operational support for Samsungs incentive compensation system Varicent, serving as the primary point of contact for business users. Manage data flows from Samsungs DataHub platform, resolve issues, and ensure accurate processing. Work directly with business teams, internal IT, and external technology partners. This role demands hands-on troubleshooting and clear communication to keep compensation operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do8
- 1Resolve daily issues reported by business users on Varicent, documenting root causes and outcomes.
- 2Monitor and validate data flows from DataHub into Varicent, flagging and correcting anomalies.
- 3Coordinate with internal IT and external partners to escalate and resolve system defects.
- 4Run batch processes and verify data accuracy in Varicent during monthly or quarterly cycles.
- 5Create and maintain support documentation, including troubleshooting guides and process flows.
- 6Train new users on Varicent functionality and data entry standards.
- 7Analyze support tickets to identify recurring patterns and recommend preventive measures.
- 8Support UAT during Varicent releases or upgrades, ensuring business readiness.
Requirements8
- 12+ years supporting incentive compensation or similar systems, with Varicent or ICM experience preferred.
- 2Hands-on experience with data analysis using SQL, Excel, or similar tools.
- 3Understanding of incentive compensation business processes and data models.
- 4Experience with enterprise data platforms like DataHub or SAP.
- 5Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- 6Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- 7Work on-site in Dallas, Texas, full-time.
- 8Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
