Incentive Comp Configuration Consultant, ICM & Salesforce
Overview
You will own the configuration and optimization of the incentive compensation management system for a national equipment rental leader with a fleet ranking among the industry's best. Reporting to the HR technology team, you will partner with business stakeholders and internal ET to translate complex incentive plans into scalable ICM solutions. You will act as the power user and back-up SME, driving data integrity through rigorous testing and documentation. What You'll Do9
- 1Configure ICM to automate incentive compensation plans, embedding business rules into scalable and maintainable processes.
- 2Translate business requirements into technical specs for data extraction and transformation from sources like Salesforce and Workday.
- 3Write complex logical queries in SQL to support calculations and reporting, ensuring accurate commission payouts.
- 4Perform quality assurance testing on system configurations and data flows to guarantee end-to-end data integrity.
- 5Diagnose and resolve system issues by identifying root causes and implementing process or system changes.
- 6Develop and maintain documentation for all technical solutions and configuration changes.
- 7Collaborate with business partners and internal ET to align ICM design with evolving incentive plan rules.
- 8Train and mentor team members on ICM best practices and system usage.
- 9Ensure compliance with internal audit, security policies, and change management procedures.
Requirements8
- 11-3 years configuring within ICM, Motivator, or an equivalent incentive compensation management system.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 3Proven ability to write complex logical queries and create advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel.
- 4Experience leading automation efforts with HR/IT applications such as Workday or Salesforce.
- 5Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication, translating technical concepts for all levels.
- 7Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in taking on challenging assignments and special projects.
- 8Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed (reasonable accommodations available).
Salary Insight
$86 - $118k per year
