Turret Operator 3rd Shift - Warehouse & Forklift
Overview
You operate a turret truck to receive, store, and distribute products across a 200,000-square-foot distribution center. You work with a tight-knit team on the 3rd shift, moving high volumes of natural and organic food. This role suits someone who thrives on precision and safety in a fast-moving warehouse.
What You'll Do8
- 1Operate a turret truck to pick and place pallets in high-density racking, handling up to 75 pounds per lift.
- 2Receive inbound shipments, verifying quantities and condition against paperwork, and staging them for put-away.
- 3Store products in designated locations using WMS to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- 4Pull orders for outbound shipments, selecting items by label and quantity, and shrink-wrap pallets for loading.
- 5Load and unload trailers using forklift and pallet jack, following safety protocols.
- 6Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues to maintenance.
- 7Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with OSHA standards.
- 8Collaborate with team leads and pickers to meet shift productivity goals.
Requirements8
- 11+ year experience in a distribution center or warehouse, including receiving, order pulling, or packing.
- 2Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- 3Experience operating stand-up reach trucks or turret trucks preferred.
- 4Ability to stand, walk, and climb for full 8-hour shift, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
- 5Comfortable working in varying temperatures (cool to warm) with moderate to high noise.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7Basic math and reading skills to interpret shipping documents.
- 8Ability to work independently and follow safety instructions.
