Intuit seeks motivated year-round TurboTax Retail Experts in New York to join dynamic team at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations. This role blends tax expertise with entrepreneurial spirit and community engagement to assist customers navigating tax needs. As a TurboTax Retail Expert you will serve as trusted advisor empowering customers toward positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of Powering Prosperity Around the World.
What You'll Do11
- 1Be a Proactive Community Ambassador Represent TurboTax locally embodying brand as community fixture and public face
- 2Lead local marketing initiatives make taxes accessible through outreach and promotional activities
- 3Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for diverse customer situations
- 4Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions minimize liabilities maximize refunds and offer future tax planning
- 5Deliver best-in-class customer experience fostering long-term loyalty through genuine interest and professionalism
- 6Interact with customers in-person and via video tools addressing inquiries and overcoming tax challenges
- 7Maintain active EA status with PTIN and relevant state licenses
- 8Work onsite Sunday through Saturday minimum 20 hours weekly in fast-paced environment
- 9Collaborate with growth-minded professionals and marketing support to expand client base
- 10Develop social presence creating accessible tax content aligned with Intuit policies
- 11Demonstrate bilingual English Spanish communication skills
Requirements11
- 1Active unrestricted EA CPA or attorney license with deep tax law knowledge
- 2Current Preparer Tax Identification Number PTIN required by law
- 3State licenses certificates permits or bonds as needed
- 4Minimum three years paid experience filing thirty or more federal and state individual 1040 returns annually
- 5Familiarity with Circular 230
- 6Willingness to wear TurboTax uniform and work front-facing retail environment
- 7Bilingual English Spanish communication skills preferred
- 8Passion for holistic tax advisory beyond filing and community engagement
- 9Entrepreneurial mindset with business ownership attitude
- 10Exceptional customer service empathy and professional demeanor
- 11Strong verbal written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Salary Insight
$67 - $75k per year
