What You'll Do6
- 1Pick up materials and goods from one location and transport to another location
- 2Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- 3Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel
- 4Adhere to delivery schedules
- 5Maintain detailed driving logs including work periods rest periods and fuel expenses
- 6Comply with all company policies and driving laws
Requirements8
- 1Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred
- 2Valid commercial driver’s license CDL
- 3Graduation certificate from trucking school is preferred
- 4Familiarity with GPS systems CB radios and Automatic Vehicle Location AVL technology
- 5Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations
- 6Clean driving record
- 7Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- 8Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances
