Overview
We seek an experienced professional to transport goods across locations while ensuring safety and efficiency. This role involves planning optimal routes maintaining delivery schedules and performing vehicle inspections.
What You'll Do6
- 1Pick up materials and goods from one location and deliver to another
- 2Conduct routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- 3Plan safest and most efficient travel routes
- 4Adhere to established delivery timelines
- 5Document driving logs including work periods rest periods and fuel expenses
- 6Follow all company policies and legal driving requirements
Requirements8
- 1One year of truck driving experience preferred
- 2Valid commercial driver’s license Class C
- 3Knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- 4Understanding of federal and state trucking regulations
- 5Clean driving record
- 6Ability to complete background and drug screenings
- 7Willingness to operate long haul routes
- 8Strong communication abilities
