The Traveling Construction Laborer supports interior construction activities across tenant improvement retail refresh and light industrial projects nationwide. This travel-intensive role requires deployment to project sites for extended periods. Company-paid lodging travel accommodations and per diem are provided. What You'll Do12
- 1Perform selective demolition and removal of existing building materials and finishes
- 2Clean and prepare work areas for construction activities
- 3Load unload transport stage and organize materials tools and equipment
- 4Assist carpenters finish technicians and other craft professionals with construction tasks
- 5Support flooring preparation drywall installation framing ceilings finishes and punch list completion
- 6Erect move and dismantle ladders scaffolding fencing and other temporary jobsite equipment
- 7Remove and dispose of debris waste materials and construction scrap
- 8Maintain clean organized and safe work areas throughout the project lifecycle
- 9Follow company safety procedures PPE requirements and all applicable regulations
- 10Support project mobilization and demobilization activities
- 11Operate hand tools power tools and basic construction equipment safely
- 12Execute assigned work activities under foreman direction and coordinate with team members
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED preferred previous construction labor warehouse moving manufacturing or related experience preferred
- 2Valid driver's license required OSHA 10 certification preferred OSHA 30
- 3Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
- 4Strong physical stamina to stoop stand climb lift 50 lbs and crouch reach
- 5Excellent communication skills clear articulation and teamwork orientation
