What You'll Do6
- 1Use hand tools and power tools to assist with construction tasks across civil, industrial, and commercial job sites.
- 2Prep and clean sites by removing debris and materials, ensuring a safe work area for the crew.
- 3Load and unload tools and materials from trucks, keeping inventory organized and accessible.
- 4Support carpenters, finishers, and other crew members with tasks like holding materials, measuring, and demolition.
- 5Keep the job site clean and organized, following Gregory Construction's safety protocols.
- 6Follow all safety rules and speak up if something isn't right, reporting incidents to the foreman or supervisor immediately.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of construction experience preferred, with hands-on use of hand tools and power tools.
- 2Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed, including overnight assignments.
- 3Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and handle physical work for extended periods.
- 4Strong work ethic and reliability, showing up ready to work and contribute to the crew.
- 5Commitment to safety on the job site, following all rules and reporting hazards.
- 6Team player who communicates clearly and collaborates with crew members.
