You will partner with program leadership to recommend training, communication, and oversight changes. Your insights will shape a consistent travel management approach for the OIG. What You'll Do8

  • 1Review official travel authorizations and vouchers in Concur to verify compliance with FTR and internal policies.
  • 2Analyze travel data across OIG offices, approvers, fiscal quarters, and destinations to identify trends in compliance, consistency, and timeliness.
  • 3Compare travel patterns across quarters to detect anomalies or areas needing improvement.
  • 4Provide recommendations to management on travel program changes, including additional training, communication methods, and oversight strategies.
  • 5Support database administration and application testing for travel systems, including Concur.
  • 6Develop and deliver training and guidance to travelers on FTR and travel procedures.
  • 7Maintain and update travel-related documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • 8Collaborate with OIG leadership to implement a consistent approach to travel management.

Requirements6

  • 1Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of administrative, business, or financial support experience, or a high school diploma with 15+ years of experience.
  • 2Proficiency with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and system application processing.
  • 3Hands-on experience with the Concur e-travel system for travel authorization and voucher processing.
  • 4Experience with database administration and application testing for travel-related systems.
  • 5Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage large datasets.
  • 6Experience in training and disseminating travel-related information to diverse audiences.
