Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan
Overview
Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech with ARRT certification and advanced registry in CT for a free-standing emergency department setting. This role involves operating CT and X-ray equipment while providing patient care in a high-volume environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform CT scans and general X-rays including portables
- 2Assist with patient rooming and vital signs collection
- 3Support laboratory and psych patient care
- 4Chaperone ultrasound exams during radiology duties
- 5Use Epic EMR and Epic Radiant RIS systems
- 6Operate GE Revolution Evo and Siemens GoTop CT scanners
- 7Manage Shimadzu RadSpeed and Shimadzu MX8 portable X-ray units
- 8Maintain 12-hour day shifts with 36 hours weekly
- 9Provide last four digits of SSN and full date of birth
- 10Complete administrative onboarding modules
- 11Participate in departmental orientation ranging from two days to one week
Requirements8
- 1ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
- 2Minimum of 2 years experience in CT scanner equipment
- 3At least 12 months core work experience in CT specialty area
- 4Active state license if applicable
- 5Minimum 1 professional reference from supervisor manager director or charge RN
- 6Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth
- 7Familiarity with Epic EMR and eLearning modules
- 8Ability to travel to Charlotte North Carolina location
