What You'll Do11
- 1Build and maintain CT scanner operations including patient positioning and protocol optimization
- 2Design and execute comprehensive DX and CT examination workflows
- 3Lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- 4Train and mentor junior technologists on dual-modality procedures
- 5Collaborate with nursing staff to prepare patients for imaging studies
- 6Perform basic patient care tasks such as obtaining vitals and assisting with mobility
- 7Support trauma protocols according to established clinical guidelines
- 8Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC RIS electronic health records
- 9Operate specialized equipment including Philips iSite PACS and Siemens GoTop injectors
- 10Assist with chaperoning patients during psychiatric evaluations
- 11Drive process improvements in radiology departmental operations
Requirements10
- 15+ years building CT and radiographic imaging systems
- 2ARRT certification with advanced registry in CT
- 3BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 4Epic certification preferred
- 5Permanent address within 50 miles of facility
- 6Driver’s license and insurance acceptable
- 7Familiarity with dual-modality DX/CT technologist role
- 8Experience with portable X-ray equipment
- 9Ability to travel to Providence facility for training
