Overview
CAE seeks a Training Standards Lead to drive global training excellence for civil operations. This leader will partner with training centers to develop, qualify, and mentor instructors ensuring consistent high‑quality customer experiences. The role translates global standards into local actions while fostering continuous improvement.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide mentoring performance oversight and professional guidance for instructors examiners tutors mentors and coaches
- 2Coordinate audit analysis and follow up to guarantee instructional consistency regulatory compliance and training quality
- 3Champion global standards by converting enterprise initiatives into local practices and nurturing a culture of improvement
- 4Plan schedule monitor and implement global standards procedures locally to maintain uniform application
- 5Assess pilot performance using tools such as IPPM and DOI analyze results and deliver recommendations to global standards teams
- 6Deliver instructor training sessions virtually and in‑person and support development of courseware and materials
- 7Act as SME to support local instructors align with global policies and deliver foundational Civil Global IDT
- 8Coordinate governance activities and communicate regularly with local stakeholders including specialists lead instructors heads of training training managers and center leaders
- 9Support multiple training centers handling remote leadership and cross‑site collaboration
Requirements8
- 1Hold or have held an ICAO ATPL or CPL license
- 2Minimum three years delivering or managing instructor training within an ATO or AOC environment
- 3Extensive experience training multi‑crew cooperation pilots for professional licenses and/or associated ratings including MCC and CRM
- 4Working knowledge of applicable aviation regulations such as EASA Part‑FCL ORA and FAA CFR Parts 61 121 135 and 142
- 5Ability to liaise between local instructor teams and global standards leadership
- 6Strong communication influencing and stakeholder‑management skills
- 7Proficiency with Microsoft Teams Word and PowerPoint
- 8Demonstrated professionalism and ability to model expected behaviors and standards
