What You'll Do10
- 1Provide KC-135 Boom Operator instruction in aircraft classroom and simulator environments

- 5Perform ground training diagnosing and remediating student issues
- 6Assist in project development and administrative duties like scheduling and record keeping
- 7Maintain proficiency in emergency procedures and aircraft systems
- 8Stand and teach academic instruction for up to six hours daily using BOPTT and BOWST consoles
- 9Hold prior aircraft operating experience and KC-135 instructor/trainer background
- 10Participate in aircraft familiarization flights and periodic training updates
Requirements6
- 15+ years building KC-135 Boom Operator instructor roles with training management experience
- 28 years total flight experience including five years military service
- 3Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution
- 4Recent experience as KC-135 Instructor Boom Operator or Evaluator Boom Operator
- 5Completion of formal USAF Instructor training course
- 6Physical ability to operate simulator motion and stand for extended instructional periods
