Traffic Project Manager
Overview
Lead traffic project initiatives driving results across diverse client portfolios. Oversee end-to-end project execution ensuring alignment with scope schedule and budget. Foster collaborative environment supporting cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage project(s) in accordance with scope schedule and budget
- 2Collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants to develop risk adverse project scope and fee
- 3Create project specific project plans and quality management plans
- 4Maintain project schedules and monitor progress identifying and mitigating risks
- 5Communicate project status updates and issues to internal and external stakeholders
- 6Participate in office project financial status meetings
- 7Develop and lead project status presentations
- 8Assist Section Heads and practice leaders with marketing processes including SMART go/no go decisions
- 9Coordinate technical resources within project team to ensure high-quality outcomes
- 10Provide coaching and mentorship through one-on-one meetings and project debriefs
- 11Lead and manage team members with leadership and performance management practices
Requirements12
- 1Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 2Strong communication and presentation skills
- 3Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from ABET accredited program
- 4Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
- 510+ years of relevant experience
- 6Experience with local clients at city county or state level
- 7Experience with roadway lighting signage and pavement marking ITS design
- 8Preferred PTOE or RSP certifications
- 9Experience with Open Roads Designer
- 10Experience with Civil 3D and traffic modeling software
- 11Experience with multiple project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build Design-Build P3
- 12Ability to manage multidiscipline project teams
