What You'll Do14
- 1Install maintain operate wired wireless fiber optic and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems
- 2Understand and implement MasTec Communications Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies Safety Manual
- 3Understand and implement industry standards OSHA TIA10-48 NATE CTS and ANSI
- 4Climb towers and ladders at various heights
- 5Conduct erection of various tower types
- 6Offload material and inventory
- 7Prepare and clean sites
- 8Assist in tower erection using helicopters cranes and gin poles
- 9Assist in assembly of monopole all weld and knock down self-support and guyed towers
- 10Assist in antenna installation of microwave parabolic 1 to 15-foot VHF UHF cellular and FM broadcast antennas
- 11Assist in transmission line installation of foam air dielectric coaxial hardline and elliptical waveguides
- 12Assist in installation of electrical site foundations grounding and conduits with electrical installations where applicable
- 13Serve as mentor to new less experienced technicians
- 14Complete other duties as assigned

- 9Possess working knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- 10NWSA certification is a plus
- 11Ability to climb towers pick up 50 lbs and work up to 12 hours
- 12Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company policy conditions
