You own rework and touch-up on complex PCBA assemblies, ensuring tolerances meet blueprint specs. You work in a hands-on electronic assembly role, performing soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing across day and swing shifts. You join a team focused on electronic sub assemblies and system integration at an onsite San Jose facility. What You'll Do7
- 1Perform touch-up and rework on PCBA assemblies, following methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, and cable harnessing.
- 2Set up and adjust equipment to hold tolerances per blueprint specifications, ensuring each assembly meets quality standards.
- 3Read and interpret color codes and component IDs for accurate assembly and rework.
- 4Work under a microscope for fine detail tasks, maintaining precision in solder joints and component placement.
- 5Follow manufacturing process instructions in English to execute rework and touch-up tasks consistently.
- 6Lift and handle components and assemblies weighing up to 30 pounds, moving them safely between stations.
- 7Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules, including weekend shifts when required.
Requirements7
- 14+ years of experience with PCBA, electronic sub assemblies, and system integration.
- 2Proven manual dexterity skills for detailed assembly work.
- 3Ability to read and understand color codes and component identifiers.
- 4Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods.
- 5Effective communication in English to follow manufacturing instructions.
- 6Physically able to lift 15-30 pounds and stand for shifts.
- 7Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
