What You'll Do10
- 1Set up, operate, and tend racking stations to prepare aluminum components for anodizing.
- 2Secure aluminum parts to racks per detailed specifications to ensure quality processing.
- 3Read blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine daily requirements.
- 4Assemble, align, clamp, and position workpieces in holding fixtures for processing.
- 5Select and position jigs, fixtures, and guides using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- 6Monitor equipment and adjust settings to resolve routine operational issues.
- 7Prepare metal surfaces with grinders, cutters, and drills as needed.
- 8Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment to support efficient operations.
- 9Record production data accurately and remove finished workpieces from equipment.
- 10Transfer components safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 22+ years in manufacturing or production work.
- 3Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documentation.
- 4Use measuring instruments and hand tools with accuracy.
- 5Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- 6Perform repetitive tasks while meeting quality standards.
- 7Solve problems and troubleshoot equipment issues.
