What You'll Do9
- 1Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods, including masking and coating operations.
- 2Operate production equipment for etching, blasting, drying, and baking to meet specifications.
- 3Follow all SOPs and Lean manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- 4Complete assigned process training and maintain certification for hazardous chemical handling.
- 5Organize and maintain assigned process area daily, following 6S standards.
- 6Attend monthly safety meetings and complete safety training programs.
- 7Handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals correctly, adhering to all safety policies.
- 8Take SPC measurements and log data to support process control.
- 9Report achieved task goals and seek opportunities to advance skills in new processes.
Requirements9
- 11+ year experience in manufacturing processes or materials; 3+ years preferred.
- 2Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies desired.
- 3High School Diploma/GED or related field; AA degree in technical field preferred.
- 4Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- 5Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
- 6Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs., and kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
- 7Capability to wear cleanroom gowning (hairnet and frock) and work with hazardous chemicals daily.
- 8Kaizen or Lean training is a major plus; media blast experience and quality assurance experience preferred.
- 9Ability to take SPC measurements and log data accurately.
