Technical Support Engineer – PeopleSoft Peraton
Overview
Peraton seeks a Technical Support Engineer to lead system monitoring and troubleshooting for government customers. This role involves collaborating with contractors and ISSO while meeting SLAs and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Do12
- 1Collaborate closely with government customers, contractor Project Lead, ISSO, Application Vendor, and Application End Users
- 2Perform daily system monitoring and monthly tasks
- 3Ensure maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements
- 4Implement policies and procedures for identifying receiving documenting and correcting problems
- 5Respond promptly to system issues by troubleshooting and resolving them through a ticketing tracking system
- 6Report to customer locations during off-hours when necessary
- 7Establish objectives and direct staff activities to enhance technical support quality knowledge sharing and resolution timeframes
- 8Coordinate customer service activities with internal functions
- 9Assist users with software applications for immediate problem resolution
- 10Create or update documentation related to system operations and processes
- 11Maintain PeopleSoft Technical Support expertise with 8+ years of relevant experience
- 12Install configure and maintain systems per project specifications
Requirements8
- 1TS/SCI clearance with polygraph adjudication or ability to obtain clearance
- 2Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience
- 3Minimum 8 years of PeopleSoft Technical Support experience
- 4Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for server-based applications
- 5Ability to perform occasional after-hours tasks
- 6Proven ability to document system operation and maintenance procedures
- 7Performance monitoring and issue documentation with management recommendations
- 8Teamwork orientation and proactive issue anticipation
Salary Insight
$104 - $166k per year
