- 1Develop and enforce safety policies ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- 2Oversee capital improvement program for infrastructure integrity and future growth
- 3Manage budgets and coordinate technical professionals through coaching and mentoring
- 4Direct industrial pretreatment program and permit processes for developer projects
- 5Implement pollution prevention strategies and manage sewer service charges
- 6Prepare internal policies and coordinate with Business Services Workgroup Manager
- 7Review project specifications and approve construction inspections
- 8Maintain GIS database and resolve customer service concerns
- 9Plan and execute workgroup goals with measurable outcomes
- 10Serve as engineer in charge for all engineering designs and facility planning
- 11Negotiate agreements with developers and manage technical consultant contracts
- 12Coordinate recycled water initiatives with General Manager and Board
- 13Represent District at external meetings and represent USD in community groups
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Master's degree preferred in civil or environmental engineering
- 3California Professional Civil Engineer license and Class C driver's license
- 4Physical ability to perform demanding engineering tasks
- 5Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- 6Expertise in budget management and financial oversight
- 7Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- 8Experience with GIS systems and regulatory compliance
- 9Background in procurement and contract management
- 10Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA
