Technical Sales Engineer, Semiconductor Materials
Overview
Own technical liaison for semiconductor materials between customers, overseas teams, and manufacturers at scale. What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with existing semiconductor customers and identify new opportunities
- 2Provide onsite troubleshooting and fab support for lithography materials including photoresist and related products
- 3Discuss manufacturing processes, photolithography, and evaluation results with customers to drive issue resolution
- 4Investigate customer issues onsite, report findings to overseas teams, and communicate solutions to customers
- 5Prepare quotations, proposals, and manage price negotiations and delivery schedules
- 6Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and coordinate logistics and shipments
- 7Research regulatory requirements for chemical imports, shipments, and returns to Japan
- 8Coordinate needs and quality concerns with overseas partners and manufacturers
- 9Use internal systems to manage product and shipment information
- 10Travel approximately one-third of the month to customer sites and facilities
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, or related field
- 21–3+ years in semiconductor industry in process engineering, applications engineering, technical sales, or related function
- 3Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, photolithography, and photoresist
- 4Professional English communication skills
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
