Technical Project Manager Hardware Development & Logistics
Overview
Own cross functional program execution for next generation consumer hardware at scale. You will coordinate engineering workstreams, prototype builds, and international logistics with program managers, technical leads, engineers, suppliers, and finance. This contract role demands exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities across suppliers in a fast paced environment. You will partner with internal teams and external partners to keep programs on track and deliverables visible.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage engineering workstreams with program managers and engineers to meet milestones
- 2Design and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on time progress
- 3Ship prototype builds and track development activities across programs
- 4Use Jira to manage engineering tasks, actions, and deliverables
- 5Coordinate international shipping, receiving, logistics, and shipment tracking for prototypes and development hardware
- 6Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to track tasks, deliverables, and Statements of Work
- 7Partner with finance and purchasing to onboard suppliers, obtain proposals, place orders, and track deliveries
- 8Support engineering teams with development documentation and project artifacts
- 9Collect program data to create dashboards, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders
- 10Maintain project documentation, internal resources, meeting notes, and action items
Requirements10
- 15 to 7 years of project or program management experience
- 2Experience with international shipping, logistics, and receiving for hardware or technical products
- 3Experience supporting logistics and suppliers in Asia is highly preferred
- 4Strong Jira experience within an engineering development environment
- 5Demonstrated project management experience supporting complex technical programs
- 6Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 7Experience developing project schedules and work breakdown structures
- 8Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- 9Ability to manage multiple suppliers, workstreams, and competing priorities
- 10Strong cross functional communication skills and ability to proactively identify gaps, ask questions, and escalate when needed
