What You'll Do10
- 1Drive as part of a two-person team to cover dedicated routes in dry van trailers
- 2Maintain safe operations and on-time deliveries while meeting customer requirements
- 3Navigate routes across Midwest Northeast and South with 10-15 loads per week and 2-4 stop-offs per load
- 4Operate with mostly drop-and-hook and no-touch freight to maximize efficiency
- 5Follow company policies and safety standards to ensure consistent weekly miles and home time
- 6Coordinate with dispatch to optimize schedules and reduce idle time
- 7Utilize pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness
- 8Maintain communication with the team and logistics for accurate delivery windows
- 9Manage pet policy adherence for team travel where applicable
- 10Complete orientation and ongoing training to leverage driver-first benefits and technology
Requirements10
- 1Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2Be within 75 miles of Gary IN or relocate as needed
- 3eligible for CDL training through company programs if needed
- 4Ability to operate in a team driving environment and maintain clean driving record
- 5Experience with long-haul or regional dry van operations preferred
- 6Strong communication skills and reliability for a steady schedule
- 7Willingness to drive within a multi-state Midwest Northeast and South region
- 8Commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- 9Availability for full-time schedule with consistent weekly miles
- 10Must meet company minimums for background and safety screenings
