What You'll Do10
- 1Build consistent miles and schedule for team operations
- 2Drive 100% no-touch, 60% drop-and-hook freight with 10-15 loads weekly
- 3Navigate midwest, northeast and south regions while maintaining safety standards
- 4Collaborate with teammates to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient routing
- 5Maintain logs and comply with all CDL regulations to ensure clean audits
- 6Utilize company-provided technology and equipment designed for driver comfort
- 7Engage with the driver support network for issues and route optimization
- 8Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maximize performance
- 9Represent Schneider with professional conduct and customer service excellence
- 10Report maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly
Requirements10
- 1Valid Class A CDL
- 2Live within 75 miles of Gary, IN
- 3Ability to operate on a full-time, on-site schedule
- 4Experience with dry van freight preferred but not required
- 5Eligible for company-paid CDL training programs
- 6Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- 7Willingness to drive across Midwest, Northeast and South
- 8Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 9Interest in sign-on bonus programs and incentives
- 10Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment testing
