Tanker Driver CDL Class A Altom Transport
Overview
Driver will own and manage bulk liquid chemical transportation across large scale. This role offers opportunities to grow within a family owned company with extensive terminals. You will lead teams and ensure safety excellence.
What You'll Do7
- 1Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials
- 2Load and unload using hoses pumps and valves following strict safety protocols
- 3Conduct and document pre and post trip inspections
- 4Maintain accurate trip records logs and inspection reports
- 5Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers
- 6Adhere to DOT EPA and safety regulations
- 7Represent Altom professionally during customer interactions
Requirements12
- 1Valid CDL Class A license with current X endorsement hazmat plus tanker
- 2Tanker endorsement N required and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- 3TWIC card preferred or obtainable after hire
- 4Minimum 2 years tanker driving experience within last 5 years
- 5Age 23 minimum with clean MVR and strong safety record
- 6No DUI/OWI within 5 years
- 7No prohibited status in FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- 8No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- 9No more than 2 CSA moving violations in 18 months
- 10Pass DOT physical drug screening and background check
- 11Complete 1-week minimum new hire in-person training
- 12Able to comply with HM 232 Compliance & Emergency Response Plan
