CDL Tanker Driver - Altom Transport
Overview
Lead a team of experienced professionals to safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid chemicals across our extensive network. You will manage daily logistics and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a family owned company dedicated to excellence.
What You'll Do10
- 1Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials
- 2Load and unload using hoses pumps and valves with strict safety protocols
- 3Conduct and document pre and post trip inspections
- 4Maintain accurate trip records logs and inspection reports
- 5Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers
- 6Adhere to DOT EPA and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines
- 7Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions
- 8Participate in ongoing safety training and quarterly meetings
- 9Follow HM 232 Compliance and Emergency Response Plan
- 10Utilize forward facing cameras on all equipment
Requirements10
- 1Valid CDL Class A License with current X endorsement Hazmat and Tanker
- 2Tanker Endorsement N required Hazmat Endorsement H preferred
- 3Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience within the last 5 years
- 4Age 23 or older with clean MVR and strong safety record
- 5No DUI/OWI within 5 years and no major accidents in past 5 years
- 6Pass DOT physical drug screening and background check
- 7Able to complete 1-week new hire in person training
- 8Commitment to mission first safety always culture
- 9Willingness to work flexible schedules including 24/7 operations
- 10Valid HM 232 Compliance and HSE policy guidelines
