Tanker Driver CDL A Altom Transport
Overview
Lead a team of experienced professionals to safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products across multiple states. You will manage logistics, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a positive work-life balance through flexible scheduling options.
What You'll Do10
- 1Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials
- 2Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with strict safety protocols
- 3Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections
- 4Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports
- 5Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers
- 6Adhere to DOT EPA and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines
- 7Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions
- 8Participate in ongoing safety training and quarterly safety meetings
- 9Complete mandatory onboarding and pass DOT physical drug screening and background checks
- 10Follow HM 232 Compliance and Emergency Response Plan procedures
Requirements11
- 1Valid CDL Class A License with current X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker)
- 2Current Tanker Endorsement (N) and preferred Hazmat Endorsement (H)
- 3Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience within the last 5 years
- 4At least 23 years of age
- 5Clean MVR and strong safety record
- 6No DUI/OWI on record within the last 5 years
- 7Cannot be prohibited in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- 8No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- 9No more than 2 CSA moving violations in the last 18 months
- 10Able to pass DOT physical drug screening and background check
- 11Qualified to complete 1-week minimum new hire in-person training
