Overview
Lead development of high-fidelity models and simulations for missile design and flight test activities. Design and implement solutions to evaluate system performance through trade studies and engineering analyses. Collaborate with GNC Signal Processing and Performance Simulation teams to support program objectives. Analyze simulation results to influence system architecture and performance. Support product lifecycle from concept through fielded operations. Participate in technical reviews to resolve challenges and improve performance. What You'll Do9
- 1Develop high-fidelity models and simulations to support missile design and flight test activities
- 2Design and implement modeling and simulation solutions for system and subsystem performance evaluation
- 3Collaborate with Guidance Navigation & Control GNC Signal Processing Systems Engineering and Software Engineering teams to execute simulation activities
- 4Analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations influencing system architecture performance and design decisions
- 5Support product lifecycle from concept development through system integration verification flight test and fielded operations
- 6Participate in multidisciplinary technical reviews to resolve technical challenges and improve system performance
- 7Support development and validation of simulation tools enabling engineering analyses and system verification
- 8Own and scale simulation environments for high-fidelity analysis of complex technical systems
- 9Drive optimization of performance assessment methodologies for next-generation missile and sensor systems
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's Degree in STEM with minimum 2 years relevant experience
- 2Proficiency in object-oriented programming with C and/or C++
- 3Experience using Python and/or MATLAB for engineering data analysis and modeling solutions
- 4Experience developing models simulations supporting complex technical systems
- 5Active and transferable DoD Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date with ability to obtain SAP
