Overview
Design low voltage switchboards and panelboards complying with standards. Work in Charleston with relocation support. Build scalable electrical systems.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design low voltage switchboards and panelboards in compliance with applicable standards
- 2Create 3D sheet metal components and flat patterns
- 3Develop complex 3D assemblies with large multi-component BOMs
- 4Produce wiring diagrams including PLCs relays breakers and power systems
- 5Generate 2D drawings including layouts single-line diagrams and front views
- 6Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and vendors to ensure accurate execution
- 7Translate client requirements into practical and efficient design solutions
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 24-8 years of professional experience working for UL891 OEM or equivalent
- 3Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software Autodesk preferred
- 4Solid understanding of electrical systems and design principles
- 5Preferred experience with UL standards such as UL891 UL67 UL508A UL1558
