Overview
Full-Time Survey Technician 2 supporting land surveying projects in Middletown NJ. Prepare accurate survey drawings and documents for designers engineers project managers and clients. Contribute to civil engineering plans tax maps easement documents land survey plats and other deliverables.
What You'll Do7
- 1Prepare and revise land survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD and Civil 3D including base maps tax maps ALTA/NSPS surveys boundary surveys subdivision plans metes and bounds descriptions digital terrain models and contour maps.
- 2Perform least-squares traverse adjustments and other survey calculations to support accurate project deliverables.
- 3Collaborate with project managers surveyors engineers and other team members to ensure drawings are accurate complete and delivered on schedule.
- 4Coordinate project deadlines participate in project meetings and communicate project status and priorities with the team.
- 5Maintain organized accurate and complete drawing files in accordance with company and project standards.
- 6Adhere to applicable surveying standards procedures and quality control requirements.
- 7Support field survey activities as needed.
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow not Experience with data tools.
- 23-5 seasons of experience in surveying roles including office and field experience.
- 3Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- 4Experience with least-squares adjustments and survey calculations.
- 5Familiarity with Carlson Field to Finish is a plus.
- 6Knowledge of Leica GPS and robotic survey equipment.
