What You'll Do11

- 3Participate in vaginal deliveries by collecting weights measurements and infant footprints supporting seamless provider transitions
- 4Conduct comprehensive surgical counts and participate in time-out protocols maintaining precise accountability
- 5Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to troubleshoot equipment and resolve instrument challenges in real time
- 6Provide culturally competent patient-centered care adapting approaches to meet individual needs and cultural backgrounds
- 7Lead performance improvement initiatives driving process optimization while adhering to Joint Commission safety standards
- 8Mentor junior staff and trainees offering guidance through precepting and hands-on training across multiple modalities
- 9Prepare sterile dressings and manage post-procedure specimen handling with meticulous attention to detail
- 10Maintain financial stewardship of surgical supplies and equipment following established usage protocols
- 11Support evidence-based practices and participate in continuous learning through required continuing education hours
Requirements11
- 15+ years building surgical technology credentials with documented experience in high-acuity environments
- 2Certified Surgical Technologist credential obtained through recognized accreditation programs
- 3BSL-I certification or equivalent foundational training completed prior to employment
- 4Demonstrated proficiency with Python AWS React and Kubernetes in surgical workflow automation
- 5Proven track record of 5+ years managing inventory systems and OR logistics
- 6Strong communication abilities with English proficiency and clinical documentation expertise
- 7Ability to collaborate cross-functionally under pressure while maintaining patient safety compliance
- 8Commitment to team development through coaching and fostering inclusive workplace culture
