Support Engineer II, IT Support & Desktop Services
Overview
Own endpoint support for Windows Mac and Linux in a fast moving corporate environment at scale. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user permissions and perform routine hardware maintenance across a mixed OS estate. You will collaborate with local and remote teammates, adhere to SOPs and bring a strong customer focus.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and diagnose end user device issues across Windows Mac and Linux environments to rapidly restore service
- 2Design and implement solutions for hardware/software problems with documented fixes and knowledge base contributions
- 3Ship and deploy hardware or software updates following standard operating procedures and change controls
- 4Own ticket triage escalation and incident response to minimize downtime and impact to users
- 5Scale support delivery by coordinating with teammates and leveraging remote tools for remote assistance
- 6Debug complex system interactions and provide clear, concise updates to customers and internal teams
- 7Drive continual improvement by contributing to post incident reviews and knowledge sharing
- 8Provide in person and remote assistance for AV systems and Teleconferencing equipment
- 9Maintain accurate call logs and ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow up
Requirements10
- 12+ years of experience supporting Windows Mac and Linux operating systems in a corporate setting
- 2High school or equivalent diploma
- 3Associate in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- 42+ years of experience in helpdesk or desk side environment
- 5Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate with technical and non technical staff
- 6Ability to work independently and within a team
- 7Commitment to quality and strong multi tasking skills
- 8Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field preferred
- 9Microsoft MCSE MCITP and other certifications preferred
- 10Advanced Linux systems administration skills preferred
