What You'll Do9
- 1Lead purchasing efforts for materials parts and component finishing while monitoring delivery timeliness
- 2Collaborate with Production to ensure parts availability at the facility
- 3Analyze internal demand and coordinate with suppliers to avoid shortages
- 4Partner with Materials Leader to adjust internal systems based on supplier demand changes
- 5Monitor supplier performance with the Quality team and implement corrective actions
- 6Conduct makebuy analyses and supplier selection using cross‑functional teams to achieve optimal total cost alternatives
- 7Identify material cost savings by evaluating current suppliers and exploring alternate sources
- 8Improve overall supply chain processes through systematic problem solving
- 9Maintain strong communication and organization skills to deliver results
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree preferred associate’s degree with relevant work experience
- 25 years of supply chain and procurement experience
- 3Project Management Certification preferred
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 55+ years working with Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S TAKT Standard Work Kanban Visual Management
- 6Basic understanding of statistical methods in manufacturing
- 7Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access databases
- 8Familiarity with MRP systems
- 9Ability to think systemically and solve complex problems
- 10Excellent communication and organizational abilities with a positive attitude
