Overview

This role owns supplier quality assurance for aerospace and defense programs at the Tempe site, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations. You will partner with internal teams and suppliers to drive containment, corrective actions, and process improvements. You will lead audits, data-driven quality decisions, and documentation to support mission-critical hardware deliveries.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build supplier quality programs and perform source inspections to ensure conformance
  • 2Design and execute audits and validations to verify process compliance and product integrity
  • 3Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions across supplier network
  • 4Collect and analyze statistical data to monitor trends and drive improvement
  • 5Prepare and present quality metrics and progress reports to leadership

Requirements5

  • 1BA/BS in a technical field or 13 years related experience
  • 25+ years in quality, engineering or supplier management
  • 3Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection and FAIR processes
  • 4Knowledge of Six Sigma, control plans, RCCA and FMEAs
  • 5Strong communication and leadership capabilities
