Superintendent, Commercial - Masonry & Concrete
Overview
Owns daily production, safety, quality, and crew development on assigned commercial projects at scale. Leads field operations to ensure plans are followed, on time, and within budget. Collaborates with foremen and subcontractors to deliver high quality structures and client satisfaction. This role combines field leadership with hands-on site execution and safety culture, in a fast-paced environment that values excellence.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and supervise daily site activities to meet project plans, timelines, and budgets
- 2Lead foremen and crews, conducting performance evaluations and development
- 3Plan and inspect work daily, schedule inspections, and manage material takeoffs
- 4Coordinate with subcontractors and clients in the field to ensure alignment with specs
- 5Enforce safety practices and conduct weekly toolbox talks on sites
- 6Monitor progress, adjust staffing and resources to maintain schedule
- 7Prepare and review documentation in English and/or Spanish as needed
- 8Communicate project status to General Superintendent and stakeholders
- 9Oversee quality control to ensure adherence to plans and standards
- 10Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Requirements10
- 1Two or more years of experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role
- 2Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and engineering
- 3Pass Company Driver Approval Process
- 4OSHA 30 card required
- 5CPR certification required
- 6Pass mandatory pre-employment and ongoing drug screening
- 7Ability to work safely in hot and cold outdoor temperatures on construction sites
- 8Ability to read and write in English and/or Spanish at a functional level
- 9Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish
- 10Preferred: Prior commercial masonry, concrete, or related trade leadership experience
