What You'll Do9

  • 1Drive field productivity, quality, and safety objectives on each project, reporting progress to the project team.
  • 2Supervise hiring, training, and job assignments for field personnel, following company EEO guidelines.
  • 3Develop personnel through coaching and performance evaluation to maximize workforce efficiency.
  • 4Coordinate with the project team to sequence work steps and adapt schedules to changing conditions.
  • 5Resolve constructability issues on site, collaborating with engineers and project managers to find solutions.
  • 6Build strong customer and subcontractor relationships to support future project acquisition.
  • 7Manage material and equipment schedules to ensure efficient use and avoid delays.
  • 8Champion safety by enforcing OSHA regulations and promoting a culture of safety on site.
  • 9Own special projects as assigned, assisting with overall organizational support.

Requirements10

  • 12+ years of experience in a similar superintendent role with demonstrated success.
  • 2Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with all levels, customers, and subcontractors.
  • 3Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and organize project data on productivity, quality, and safety.
  • 4Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
  • 5Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements and construction safety regulations.
  • 6Willing to travel and work extended periods on projects outside the office area.
  • 7Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • 8Experience with web-based project management tools preferred.
  • 9Knowledge of HR procedures (hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation) and EEO compliance preferred.
  • 1030 Hour OSHA safety card preferred.
