Overview
The Studio Manager will lead daily operations at our Broadway Plaza studio in Walnut Creek CA focusing on a warm welcoming celebratory atmosphere and exceptional customer service. This role combines retail leadership with clinical safety standards to drive revenue and maintain a high-quality brand experience.
What You'll Do11
- 1Create a warm welcoming celebratory atmosphere greeting and engaging customers while collaborating with sales associates to deliver memorable ear piercing experiences.
- 2Lead and coach a team of nurse piercers and sales associates ensuring adherence to Rowan Clinical Piercing Standards and protocols.
- 3Schedule staff within labor allocations while managing payroll audits and handling staffing issues to maintain optimal coverage.
- 4Oversee inventory management ensuring compliance with policies and POS accuracy while preventing losses through effective loss prevention measures.
- 5Drive sales and profitability by optimizing appointments inventory sell-through and aligning team efforts with performance targets and customer value communication.
- 6Maintain clean welcoming safe studio environment reflecting brand guidelines and health regulations including ladder climbing bending lifting and reaching tasks.
- 7Train and onboard new staff ensuring understanding of Rowan procedures safety protocols and product knowledge through continuous development opportunities.
- 8Prepare performance reports on sales customer feedback and operational opportunities while coordinating with corporate teams on marketing initiatives and product launches.
- 9Foster positive inclusive team culture embodying Rowan values and mission while meeting individual and studio goals through clear expectations and targeted support.
- 10Manage time-off requests and handle daily operational challenges to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational efficiency.
- 11Ensure visual merchandising standards are met with proper product presentation displays and fixtures throughout studio and selling floor.
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in retail management with a passion for service-oriented environments
- 3Jewelry experience preferred
- 4Proven track record driving sales and optimizing store profitability
- 5Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Google Suite and retail technology systems
- 6Knowledge of health and safety regulations particularly related to piercing procedures
- 7Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- 8Strong organizational skills with multitasking abilities and analytical retail math capabilities
- 9Physical stamina required to climb ladders bend lift push and reach above and below waist
- 10Commitment to excellence in customer service and maintaining clean welcoming studio environment
