What You'll Do11
- 1Perform structural analysis calculations and design for various project types
- 2Develop structural drawings specifications calculations and technical documentation
- 3Design and evaluate structural systems using steel concrete and other materials
- 4Apply engineering principles codes and standards to create safe cost effective solutions
- 5Prepare and review structural calculations reports and construction documents
- 6Collaborate with architects engineers contractors clients and project teams
- 7Support project planning scheduling and coordination for successful delivery
- 8Conduct site visits field investigations and construction observations
- 9Provide technical support during construction addressing contractor questions
- 10Troubleshoot structural issues during design and construction phases
- 11Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical mechanical civil and project management staff
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or related field
- 24+ years of structural engineering design and analysis experience
- 3Design structural systems for industrial government commercial or critical infrastructure projects
- 4Strong understanding of structural engineering principles materials and design practices
- 5Ability to interpret architectural drawings construction documents specifications and technical requirements
- 6Working knowledge of building codes and standards including IBC ASCE 7 AISC ACI
- 7Experience with structural analysis and design software
- 8Analytical problem solving organizational and communication skills
- 9Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and project needs
- 10Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain site access authorization
Salary Insight
$100 - $120k per year
