- 4Evaluate select engineering techniques applying judgment for minor adaptations
- 5Create design sketches calculations and specifications
- 6Coordinate with disciplines to develop plans elevations and basis of design documents
- 7Apply structural engineering principles considering costs regulations and safety
- 8Specify materials such as concrete and steel and review third party reports
- 9Present technical information to peers for standard implementation
- 10Provide material takeoffs and cost estimates for feasibility
- 11Lead projects independently
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from accredited university
- 2Minimum 10 years experience in structural steel and concrete engineering
- 3Engineer in Training Certification and pursuing Professional Engineer licensure
- 4Proficiency with MS Office AutoCAD BlueBeam RISA NavisWorks STAAD SPMats Enercalc
- 5Experience with large power generation and industrial projects
