Structural Designer, BIM & Revit
Overview
You will own the structural BIM design process for industrial and water engineering projects at Kiewit. At a scale of 3,700+ engineers, you will create Revit models for foundations and steel structures. You will coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, and help set department standards. This role offers hands-on mentorship and growth within a leading EPC and design-build group.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build Revit models for foundations and steel structures in collaboration with engineers
- 2Drive BIM workflows to produce plans, drawings, and details for project delivery
- 3Coordinate with design teams to exchange project information and ensure accuracy
- 4Lead development of department standards and tools for BIM efficiency
- 5Mentor team members in design and modeling techniques with Revit
- 6Interpret multi-discipline engineering and vendor documents to inform design
Requirements5
- 1Associate's degree in Design & Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 21+ years of Revit experience in structural design
- 3Proficiency in latest Autodesk Revit versions
- 4Knowledge of BIM software and workflows
- 5Basic knowledge of current operating systems and productivity software
