What You'll Do15
- 1Report project progression updates and issues to Lead Electrical Designers
- 2Coordinate with project teams using the Request for Review Process and other functions
- 3Develop schematics and one-line drawings from sketches
- 4Design duct banks, conduit, cable trays, grounding and lighting systems
- 5Create 3D models and check for interferences and constructability
- 6Route electrical cables in 3D environments to generate schedules
- 7Model electrical components using vendor submittals
- 8Perform calculations for conduit fill and pull box sizing per NEC
- 9Gather information to develop designs and verify voltage separation
- 10Create plan drawings and details for electrical deliverables
- 11Analyze and construct designs following quality standards
- 12Provide lessons learned via the Lessons Learned database
- 13Complete as‑bills using RFIs, ECNs and red‑marked drawings
- 14Participate in project meetings and resolve checked drawings
- 15Check designs for consistency, safety and maintainability
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 20-2 years electrical design experience preferred
- 3Bachelor degree in Design & Drafting Technology or related field
- 4Proficiency with 3D programs such as MicroStation AutoCAD Revit AutoCAD MEP or Navisworks
- 5Strong communication skills via email and electronic meeting requests
- 6Working knowledge of spreadsheets databases and PDF software
- 7Ability to represent Kiewit standards to external contacts
- 8Regular attendance and reliable work ethic
- 9Safety awareness and compliance with all policies
- 10Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
