What You'll Do11
- 1Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable drawings
- 2Develop detailed electrical documentation supporting manufacturing and assembly
- 3Prepare bills of materials wire lists and assembly documentation
- 4Translate engineering concepts into manufacturable design packages
- 5Review and revise drawings based on feedback and design reviews
- 6Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for integration
- 7Participate in design-coordination meetings and technical reviews
- 8Maintain organized CAD files and revision-controlled documentation
- 9Manage engineering documentation in Windchill or similar PLM system
- 10Ensure compliance with industry codes and internal quality requirements
- 11Protect proprietary project information
Requirements8
- 1Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
- 2At least five years of professional experience in electrical CAD design
- 3Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical Autodesk Inventor KiCad or similar software
- 4Experience producing manufacturing-ready electrical schematics and wire lists
- 5Ability to maintain revision-controlled documentation in PLM/PDM environments
- 6Knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices
- 7Familiarity with industry standards and codes
- 8Strong attention to detail and document organization skills
