BIM Specialist - Revit & Civil 3D Modeling
Overview
You will own the creation and coordination of detailed 3D BIM models for utility, power, infrastructure, substation, and EPC projects. You will work directly with engineering and construction teams, turning design intent into constructible documentation. Your models will drive multidisciplinary coordination across civil, structural, and electrical disciplines. This role offers the chance to support high-impact infrastructure work from concept to field execution. You will ensure every package meets strict company and industry standards.
What You'll Do7
- 1Develop and update detailed 3D BIM models for utility, power, and infrastructure projects using Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- 2Create construction drawings, plan sets, sections, and details directly from your BIM models.
- 3Drive design coordination across civil, structural, and electrical teams using Navisworks and BIM 360.
- 4Support engineering teams from planning through construction, ensuring models stay aligned with project changes.
- 5Deliver constructible, high-quality documentation that meets company and client standards.
- 6Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to resolve model clashes and design conflicts.
- 7Maintain model accuracy and version control using Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of BIM modeling or CAD experience focused on engineering and construction projects.
- 2Hands-on expertise with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- 3Experience in EPC, utility, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial construction environments.
- 4Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and construction documentation.
- 5Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
- 6Proficiency with Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- 7Experience with large-scale EPC projects is preferred.
- 8Familiarity with power delivery, substations, renewable energy, or utility infrastructure is a plus.
