Overview
The Structural Designer role leads delivery of high-quality structural steel and concrete foundation designs for industrial facilities. Using Revit and structural analysis tools you will create detailed models and drawings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This office-based position offers a hybrid schedule after initial onboarding. Successful candidates will differentiate themselves through expertise in industrial design and precision.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop detailed structural designs and 3D models for industrial projects using Revit
- 2Produce update and maintain structural drawings plans and details for steel and concrete foundations
- 3Apply structural design principles to ensure safety integrity and constructability
- 4Use RISA to support design decisions and verify structural performance
- 5Coordinate with engineers and other design disciplines to integrate structural designs
- 6Review design documents for accuracy completeness and adherence to codes and standards
- 7Incorporate feedback revise designs and prepare documentation for submissions
- 8Maintain organized project files models and drawings according to company standards
- 9Contribute to continuous improvement of structural design processes tools and best practices
- 10Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
- 11Support preparation of documentation for project submissions permitting and construction
Requirements11
- 1Minimum of 2+ years experience working in design especially structural steel and concrete foundations
- 2Hands-on experience designing concrete foundations for industrial projects
- 3Proven experience designing structural steel elements and systems
- 4Familiarity with structural design for industrial environments
- 5Ability to use RISA or similar structural analysis software
- 6Strong attention to detail in modeling drafting and documentation
- 7Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teams
- 8Previous industrial project experience preferred
- 9Experience with civil structural or engineering disciplines
- 10Knowledge of integrating structural models into broader project workflows
- 11Willingness to work in office with optional hybrid schedule after onboarding
