Structural Design Engineer
Overview
Contech Engineered Solutions LLC seeks a Design Engineer to lead engineering analysis and design of mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall systems. You will perform internal and external stability assessments and connection design. This role drives process improvements and supports project success across diverse client engagements.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead engineering analysis and design of MSE wall systems including stability and connection details
- 2Consult with external firms and provide design support for internal sales and client interactions
- 3Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve field issues and ensure compliance
- 4Manage client projects through all phases from take‑off to installation support
- 5Review drawings and calculations for code compliance and engineering intent
- 6Maintain State DOT approvals and documentation for Vist‑A‑Wall products
- 7Stay current with AASHTO FHWA MSE guidelines and ACI standards
- 8Develop tools to enhance engineering efficiency and accuracy
- 9Communicate technical insights to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams
- 10Travel up to 10% of project time to support field activities
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading complex engineering projects
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- 5Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
- 6Experience with CRM or project management databases
- 7Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8Familiarity with civil site plans and technical specifications
