Overview
Lead structural design for diverse markets in Walnut Creek and Folsom. Own structural design of facilities supporting technology corporate commercial education healthcare water industrial power federal sectors. Deliver high quality technically sound designs.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review structural documents for conflicts with all disciplines
- 2Write and edit structural specifications select procedures materials sizes perform calculations
- 3Coordinate structural design team through design development contract document phases
- 4Establish meetings participate in agency code compliance reviews
- 5Conduct design development contract document work sessions at project site with PM and other disciplines
- 6Take responsibility for coordinating workload through design development construction document phases to complete documents on schedule
- 7Coordinate and assist with affected disciplines manage addendum requests for information change proposals and change orders incorporate agreed changes
- 8Perform other duties as needed
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in Civil Structural Engineering or BS Architectural Engineering structural emphasis
- 2Professional Engineer license recognized by licensing board
- 3Minimum 5 years structural engineering experience
- 4Previous experience in general civil engineering
- 5Strong leadership communication skills proficiency with Microsoft Office
