Overview
GPC Genuine Parts Company seeks enthusiastic detail oriented Store Stock Associate to control and maintain warehouse inventory. This role helps fulfill customer demand while ensuring accurate order fulfillment and housekeeping.
What You'll Do5
- 1Pulls all orders for the dispatcher regarding parts delivery to wholesale customers
- 2Pulls for main counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call as accurately as possible
- 3Cleans up and disposes boxes packing material pallets and general facility housekeeping
- 4Follows safety rules including hazardous material handling
- 5Stocks loading and picking tasks under management direction
Requirements8
- 1At least one year previous experience stocking loading or pulling
- 2High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 3Literacy and ability to identify part numbers and line codes
- 4Legible writing skills
- 5Basic computer terminal operation
- 6Ability to lift 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds with equipment
- 7Capability to bend stoop to ground level shelves and reach 8 feet with stool or ladder
- 8Willingness to stand or walk for assigned shifts
