What You'll Do10
- 1Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to Pro customers in the Indianapolis area.
- 2Pick up returns and cores from customer locations to maintain accurate inventory.
- 3Drop off weekly and monthly sales flyers, promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
- 4Collect credit accounts daily to reduce outstanding balances.
- 5Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, sharing insights from delivery routes.
- 6Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value per delivery.
- 7Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
- 8Stock shelves, manage back stock, and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- 9Engage walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
- 10Support team with additional duties as assigned to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals in English (Spanish a plus).
- 4Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- 5Willingness to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- 6Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.
- 7Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
- 8Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- 9Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including installing batteries and wiper blades.
- 10Automotive parts experience is preferred.
