Stock Plan Administrator at Fervo Energy
Overview
Fervo Energy seeks a Stock Plan Administrator to lead equity compensation program administration in Houston. This role owns end-to-end processing of RSU grants vesting terminations and insider trading compliance while collaborating with Legal Finance and People Operations. The individual will ensure accurate transactions maintain system of record integrity and drive scalable processes for a growing public company.
What You'll Do13
- 1Administer RSU grants vesting events terminations and forfeitures across multiple vesting schedules
- 2Maintain stock plan administration platform as system of record migrating and reconciling historical data from Carta
- 3Process and reconcile stock transactions ensuring accuracy between plan platform payroll and Fervo`s transfer agent
- 4Manage pre-clearance process for insider population coordinating with Legal
- 5Administer 10b-5 trading plans including setup monitoring and required filings alongside outside counsel
- 6Support Section 16 reporting and Form 4 filings assisting with equity inputs to proxy statements and SEC filings
- 7Monitor blackout windows and trading restrictions flagging compliance issues before violations
- 8Administer Employee Stock Purchase Plan end to end including enrollment contribution changes purchase processing and disqualifying disposition tracking
- 9Build scalable processes and self-service resources for high participation employee base
- 10Partner with Finance on equity expense reporting forecasting and audit support
- 11Produce recurring and ad hoc equity reporting for People Operations Finance and Legal leadership
- 12Serve as primary point of contact for employee questions about RSUs ESPP vesting and trading windows
- 13Develop plain-language education materials helping first-time equity holders understand their compensation
Requirements11
- 13-6 years of experience administering equity compensation plans including RSUs and ESPP
- 2Experience with stock plan administration platforms such as Fidelity Shareworks Certent Etrade Computershare or Carta
- 3Working knowledge of insider trading compliance Section 16 Form 4 filings and 10b-5 trading plans
- 4Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical rigor for cross-system data reconciliation
- 5High attention to detail and sound judgment handling confidential market-sensitive information
- 6Strong written and verbal communication abilities explaining equity mechanics to non-experts
- 7Willingness to relocate to Houston or existing presence in the area
- 8Preferred Certified Equity Professional CEP designation
- 9Experience at a company that recently completed an IPO including lock-up and insider population management
- 10Direct experience partnering with Legal and Finance on SEC reporting or proxy statement inputs
- 11Proven track record migrating equity plan administration off of Carta onto advanced platforms
